Film Noir is something we would like to incorporate in our film. The angular effects that are included are something we want to use to create tension, this idea of sharp edges gives the hints of danger. Another thing that I am very interested is the idea of the lead protagonist having a history that is quickly catching up with him. This unescapable fate that the protagonist has will make the audience question when this fate will catch him in the film.
The femme fatal is another feature that we will look to include in our film. The idea of having a woman killer is something that I am particularly interested in. This is because it defies the normal conventions of a thriller. Having this female assassin will also allow us to open up the possibility of the protagonist having a back story. One that perhaps he is on the run from?
